Taking Victorian Cleantech Global: Wrapping Up the 2026 VCC Masterclass

That’s a wrap on the 2026 VCC Masterclass: Taking Victorian Cleantech Global! Thank you to Global Victoria for their support in making this possible.

Last week was the final session of our 8-week Masterclass, bringing together program participants for an International Pitching session, as well as celebrating the conclusion of an incredible 8-week journey towards taking Victorian cleantech global!

Across eight weeks, the program has supported participants and their companies to build the knowledge, strategies and connections needed to approach international expansion with greater confidence. From assessing export readiness and identifying global opportunities, through to market entry, international partnerships, capital raising, regulatory considerations, IP and risk, each session has helped participants work towards a practical pathway for global growth.

For our final session, it was time to put that work into action.

We heard a fantastic series of going global pitches from
Phantm, Reswitch, Hydroleap, Selectronic Australia, COMFORTiD.com Pty. Ltd., Vortair Pty Ltd, Outerspace Design, Intelfuse, Accelerate Funding Group and Organica Engineering, with each company presenting to our judging panel and receiving valuable feedback on their next steps. Congratulations to Annika Jave from Vortair Pty Ltd for Best Pitch and Mohammad Sherafatmand and Frank Zamani for the Go Global Prize, for best export strategy pitch.

A huge thank you to our final-session judges Matthew Williams, Managing Director & CEO at AxleTree Capital; Kaushalya George, Trade Manager, Clean Technologies at Global Victoria; Jeffrey Lang, CEO & Executive Director at Vortair Pty Ltd; and Michele Hartz, Project Director at Climate Investor Forum, for sharing their time and expertise with our participants.

Over these eight weeks, the cohort has grown, challenged itself and drawn on the expertise and experience of our guest speakers and case studies. It has been fantastic to see the growth taking shape and connections being made across the program!

While the VCC Masterclass may be complete, this is only the beginning of the next chapter.
