Clean Energy Council

The Clean Energy Council, founded in 2007, is the peak body representing Australia’s clean energy industry. It supports and advocates for businesses and professionals working across solar, wind, hydro, bioenergy, energy storage, and more. The Council works with over 5,800 accredited solar installers and hundreds of member companies.

 

Its mission is to accelerate the transition to a smarter, cleaner energy system. It achieves this by lobbying governments, setting industry standards, providing training and accreditation, and addressing technical, political, and financial challenges to enable clean energy growth across the country.

Smart Energy Council

Tracing its history back to 1954, the Smart Energy Council is the peak industry body for the solar, storage and smart energy industries. On 22 November 2017 the Australian Solar Council and the Energy Storage Council combined to become the Smart Energy Council. The Smart Energy Council is a not-for-profit organisation, driven by our 1000+ members from across the smart energy industry. They actively connect the smart energy industry across Australia, building momentum and unlocking barriers to a future built on renewables.

The Energy Efficiency Council is a not-for-profit membership body that brings together businesses, universities, governments, and NGOs.
